Point of Impact Checkpoint Volunteer

The Point of Impact Car Seat Inspection and Installation program. As a monthly checkpoint volunteer duties include performing inspections as part of an inspection team, processing paperwork as part of an inspection team, proofing and collecting paperwork at the main table, assisting with directing traffic at the checkpoint, assisting with distribution of paperwork to parents, assisting with reminder phone calls and/or emails, or assisting at event as a runner.

How you help Three out of four infant car seats are installed incorrectly. We're looking for volunteers to help educate parents on the proper installation of children's car safety seats during monthly checkpoint events.
About us The Regional Emergency Medical Services Authority — REMSA — is the exclusive ground emergency medical services provider for Washoe County, Nevada and we serve an 11-state western region with our air ambulance program. We are a private, non-profit, fully-integrated, pre-hospital healthcare provider. We have accountability to the Washoe County District Board of Health and a volunteer board of directors comprised of healthcare and business leadership from across the region.
